How to use EcoLight?
Install Ecolight as normal light bulb. It comes in either screw base or pin base.
 

How does EcoLight work?
Insect vision is different from human vision, spectrally. Insects are attracted to light in the UV part of the spectrum. The yellow luminous pigment used to coat EcoLight lamp filters out the UV radiation and creates a light source of an illuminating wavelength that keeps mosquitoes away . It acts as a barrier to protect human beings from mozzies attack.
 

Why is EcoLight different from other insect repellents?
Unlike other insect repellents, EcoLight does not contain any insecticides or pesticides. EcoLight is safe and environmental-friendly. It can protect the whole family even the very young ones.
 

How does mosquito repellent work?
Mosquito repellents like Citronella and DEET simply smell bad. Mosquitoes avoid them because of their unpleasant smell.
 

Is EcoLight safe to be used?
Yes. EcoLight is 100% non-toxic, insecticide and pesticide-free. It is harmless to human beings, environment, animals and pets.
 

How can I be sure that EcoLight is effective?
Various Efficacy Tests have been carried out by reputable Vector Control Research Centers.

Shanghai : EcoLight's efficacy in repelling mosquito in an enclosed chamber is more than 95 %*.EcoLight's efficacy in repelling mosquito in a field trial is more than 60 %*

Can EcoLight be used together with Mozztech Mosquito Trap?
Yes, it's recommended to use both together. It's a perfect combination as it provides a double punch for effective mosquito control.
 

How to use EcoLight and Mozztech for a double punch mosquito control?
Place the Mozztech Mosquito Trap at least 5-6 meters away from the illumination of EcoLight. If EcoLight is being installed indoor, ensure that the surrounding windows are opened in order to allow the mosquitoes to exit from the house. At the same time, place the Mozztech Mosquito Trap outdoor (eg. patio or porch) to capture the chased-away mosquitoes. By doing this, we are not only having a mosquitoes-free ambient inside the house but also reducing the mosquitoes' population at the same time.
 

Is there any maximum height to install EcoLight?
Yes. The maximum height for lamp installation is 2.5 meters above the ground.
 

How soon can I expect to see the repelling effect after the EcoLight is on?
After 30 minutes
 

How many lamps should I use for a normal house?
It depends on which areas in your house that you wish to cover. The more lamps you use, the bigger coverage you have.
